Sledding with the family

Fun for the whole family

Tobogganing in the Hohe Tauern National Park is an adventure too good to be missed. Here you can zoom down the slopes day and night: on groomed pistes or natural slopes under romantic moonlight. Tobogganing is pure fun – for all age groups.

Hollersbach: Visitors are invited to whiz down this 2.5 km long natural slope at Gasthof Berghof (guesthouse) in Hollersbach. Once the entire family has enjoyed a few hours of fun-filled rides, it’s time to head to the Berghof Guesthouse to enjoy a traditional Tyrolean meal.

Tobogganing information

Wildkogel/Bramberg: Hop aboard the Wildkogelbahn car cable and allow yourself to be whisked up to the start of the world’s longest toboggan run. On arriving at the upper terminus, toboggan fans have a short 15-minute walk to the actual start of the run. Then it’s on your toboggan, and off you go! The run is 14 km long, speeding down an adrenalin-filled elevation descent of 1,300 m, before finally reaching the finish in Bramberg. Toboggan enthusiasts are allowed to use whatever it takes to get downhill, whether it be a racing toboggan, a trusty sled, or even a sleek bobsleigh. The ride lasts between 30 - 50 mins. You can also return for more adventure at night when the entire run is floodlit until 10:00 pm. The Wildkogelbahn car cable has extended operating times every Tuesday and Saturday, until 6:30 p.m.
